Alps 2026 Introduction
This two month trip to the Alps was predicated on visiting my daughter, Evelyn, and her husband, Ned.
Skiing Tour Through Alps in 2026

This two month tour through the Alps was conceived after my daughter, Evelyn, and her husband, Ned, secured a ski patrol swap to Chamonix, France.
The plan is to fly to Munich spending a week there. Then Ron will join me and we'll head south into the Alps to ski 1) Kitzbuhl, Austria, 2) 3 Zinnen Dolomites, Italy, 3) Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, and 4) Corvara in Badia, Italy. At this last stop, I'm hoping we can ski the Selle Ronda circuit. From here Ron and I will travel in different directions.
I'm headed to the village of Balzano, Italy, first just relax and wander the town for a couple of days. Then I'll travel to the infamous St Moritz, Switzerland to ski. I return to Italy and the Lake Como area for a week to explore this iconic lake north of Milan. Following that, I travel to the Zermatt area to ski and enjoy those spectacular mountains staying in the small village of St Niklaus, Switzerland.
Then it's on to the primary destination of the Chamonix valley and a celebration with Evelyn and Ned. Theone will join me for a week.
When I leave them, I'll take a couple of days to visit the east end of Lake Geneva and finish off this trip with a tour of Geneva itself.
